Peter Koch
Peter Koch, born on 20 June 1959 in Offenbach, is co-founder of Koch, Schatz & Kollegen. He grew up in Offenbach, went to school there, and still lives in the city with his family. Enthusiasm for client contact, dedication, and the drive to achieve the best possible outcome for every client are the foundation of his legal practice.

Andreas Schatz
Andreas Schatz, born in Frankfurt and raised in Offenbach since the age of two, has been admitted to the bar since July 2016 and has been a partner since 2018. He studied law at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, focusing on capital markets, corporate law, and employment law; during his studies he worked in digitalisation and spent three months in Milan. His legal traineeship took place at Darmstadt Regional Court (2014–2016). He conducts client consultations in German, English and Italian.

Claudia Ostarek
Claudia Ostarek brings over 15 years of independent practice to Koch, Schatz & Kollegen. After positions at DAS Legal Protection Insurance, two Frankfurt law firms, and her own practice in Bad Vilbel (2009–2024), she joined the firm in 2025. As a certified specialist in social law (since 2012) and insurance law (since 2017), she handles disputes with insurers, health funds, and social security authorities across the full spectrum. Long-term work with a Frankfurt tenant organisation also gave her deep expertise in tenancy and condominium law.

Dr. Alexander Herbert
Dr. Alexander Herbert is one of the founding partners of Koch, Schatz & Kollegen. Since early 2025, following decades as a full partner, he works as external counsel handling selected mandates in tenancy law, condominium ownership law, public building law, and civil service law. His academic career included years as a research associate at Goethe University Frankfurt, culminating in his doctorate. Since November 2014 he has served as an associate judge at the Hessian Administrative Court of Appeal — a depth of legal understanding he continues to bring to his mandates today.
