Legal notice
Completeness under § 5 DDG (formerly TMG): authorised representatives, contact details, professional title, competent supervisory authority, professional register, VAT ID. Missing mandatory information is a common reason for cease-and-desist letters.
Privacy policy
GDPR compliance: legal basis for each processing activity, third-party services (Google Analytics, Fonts, Maps, payment providers), data subject rights, controller contact details. In the Shop Check, we create a new privacy policy.
Cookie banner
Correct consent logic: no pre-ticked boxes, rejection must be as easy as acceptance, technically necessary cookies may be set without consent, withdrawal must be possible.
BFSG – Accessibility
Basic check under the Accessibility Strengthening Act (in force since June 2025): presence of an accessibility statement, obvious WCAG 2.1 AA violations (contrast, alt texts, keyboard navigation), feedback channel.
T&Cs & Cancellation policy (Shop Check)
Error report: statutory minimum content under §§ 312 ff. BGB, correct 14-day cancellation period, mandatory information on delivery and payment terms, price labelling under PAngV (unit prices, shipping costs). Recreation on request.
